Kmart, “Deck Out Your Deck, Dream Patio Sweepstakes”
As temperatures rise, homeowners are ready to get back to their patios and outdoor living spaces. But are those spaces ready for them? The wear and tear from a long winter can prove tough on a deck or patio leaving many ready for an upgrade.
Fortunately, this spring homeowners have the chance to receive that upgrade with the Kmart, “Deck Out Your Deck, Dream Patio Sweepstakes.”
This isn’t just a few new chairs either. By answering the question, “Why do you deserve the perfect patio makeover,” Kmart’s fans can enter to win a complete patio makeover with professional designer Theresa Strickland valued at $5,000.
Strickland, who is the Chief Home Design Officer for Sears Holdings, will work with the winner to design the perfect patio for their space including a full patio set, grill and accessories. The patio redesign will take place at the winner’s home on Thursday, May 20, 2010 and with Strickland’s help, their patio is sure to be the talk of the block this spring and summer.
Entering the contest is easy. All entrants need to do is complete a short 200 word essay on “Why you deserve a perfect patio makeover” before heading over to kmart.com/winapatio to submit it and answer a few questions.
